This Ramadan, Imperial College Islamic Society is looking to host it’s Ramadan@Imperial programme for the second year running!
We’ll be hosting daily iftaar meals accompanied by maghrib, isha and taraweeh for all students and staff on campus every day of the blessed month insha’Allah.
But we need your help! We are asking for donations to help us organise sufficient daily iftaar provisions. Based off last year, we expect a daily average attendance of 60 people and we are looking for £150 to cover the daily costs of an iftaar. However any donation, big or small is massively appreciated.
This is an amazing opportunity to reap the infinite rewards of the blessed month and a great opportunity to support students by enabling them to have a more comfortable Ramadan while studying for and taking their exams! Please donate generously.
Zaid ibn Khalid reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person.”
